Join EP2 in Supporting Ethiopia's Internally Displaced Persons (IDP)
At EP2, we are committed to addressing the urgent educational needs of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Ethiopia. In the wake of conflict and humanitarian crises, our primary focus is on providing accelerated learning programs to help IDP children catch up on missed schooling and prepare them for reintegration into regular education. By partnering with key stakeholders and working closely with the communities we serve, we ensure that these children receive not only the education they deserve but also the support needed for their overall well-being and successful future integration into society.
"The UN Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement define internally displaced persons (IDPs) as 'persons or groups of persons who have been forced or obliged to flee or to leave their homes or places of habitual residence, in particular as a result of or in order to avoid the effects of armed conflict, situations of generalized violence, violations of human rights or natural or human-made disasters, and who have not crossed an internationally recognized border.'"
